EBRUARY 21 2015 THE VIRGINIA GAZETTE 11A Police: Man craving cigarettes threatens to blow up home BY Jackson McMillan jmcmillantidewaterreviewcom JAMES CITY A James City County man was arrested and charged eb 15 with making threats to bomb or bum According to a criminal complaint the mother of Eric Villanueva 20 of Mobile Lane in James City County contacted law enforcement after her son began to display abnormal behav ior The mother Kristalynn Griffin said to police that Villanueva who had locked himself in his bedroom was and trying to bum the house down earing a fire Griffin and her boyfriend Wallace Johnson forced their way into the room Upon entry to the bedroom Griffin said she and Johnson discovered Villanueva burning rolled papers and other objects He then became according to the criminal complaint and demanded cigarettes which Griffin told him she did not have Griffin told officers Villanueva said he would blow up the house if he did not get a cigarette Officer Jennifer Tackes with the James City County Police Depart ment stated in a criminal complaint that when asked why he was so angry Villanueva said just wanted a cig arette and his mom give him Tackes stated in the criminal com plaint that Villanueva said if he had known threatening to bomb or bum the home was a felony offense he have said yet said that if he did not get a cigarette Griffin and Wallace regret McMillan can be reached by phone at 757 298 4136 York County larceny abduction suspects apprehended at hotel By Jackson McMillan jmcmillanvagazettecom WILLIAMSBURG Two York County residents were arrested and charged with crimes related to felony larceny and abduction eb 10 in Wil liamsburg Adam Joel igueroa 18 of York County was charged with abduction larceny with intent to sell conspiracy to commit a felony and misdemeanor domestic assault Ashley Marilyn Le master 18 also of York County was charged with felony larceny with in tent to sell and conspiracy to commit a felony According to a news release at 9:20 am eb 10 Williamsburg police responded to a Motel 6 at 3030 Rich mond Road to locate igueroa and Lemaster who were wanted on felo ny warrants for larceny Police were able to locate the pair and take them into custody without incident Both were transported to Virginia Penin sula Regional Jail The release states officers ob served a large amount of electronic items in the hotel room that matched the description of items stolen from a York County business Officers ob tained a search warrant for the room secured the items and turned them over to a deputy with the York Po quoson Office the release stated According to a criminal complaint igueroa told police he and Lemaster had stolen the property in January from a Wal Mart on East Rocham beau Drive in Williamsburg A criminal complaint against Le master notes both she and igueroa admitted they had knowledge the items in the room were stolen The complaint also states Lemas ter told police that igueroa had as saulted her around 2 am the morn ing of the arrest and would not let her leave the hotel McMillan can be reached by phone at 757 298 4136 ffl Mi 1 Search Homes for Sale and oreclosures wwwcentury21 nqchmancom Ui NlW 1 ISTING NlW LISTING NlW I I STI NG a 1 Nl I 1ST ING N1W LISTING REDUCED EAIRWAY VIEW PRICE REDUCED LAND LISTINGS WILLIAMSBURG BLUS 3 BR25 BA with great floor plan!
