Magazine subscription collection
I received a collection letter for a magazine I no longer subscribed to and at the time no longer received. It was for $4.42 so I just paid it since I didn't want my CC score to tank for a mere 5 dollars. Fast forward I start receiving Midwest game and fish magazine again... Every month I have gone online and canceled that subscription and was told I would get a refund... 4 months and 4 magazines delivered, and 4 more times canceling online. Now I decide to contact game and fish directly. They canceled it but I was subscribed through THEM, them being North Shore Agency. And I would have to contact them for a refund. They are the subscribing entity? The collection agency? This company is a scam or something.
Desired outcome: Refund of my original payment to them as it wasn't a collection for something already acquired by myself. It was more like a threat to continue a magazineni no longer wanted NOR RENEWED

Meaningful beauty scam (bill for $239.43)
I bought my wife a product from Meaningful Beauty as a gift, come to find out they immediately put you on a reoccurring order basis which you cannot see. They then sent me a rather large box of Beauty Creams etc which "I did not order" I received an invoice in the mail and returned the product via USPS. They have now turned it over for collection to North Shore Agency. The website for payment does not exist...www.nsapay.com How in the hell can you make a payment. Does this company even exist?
Desired outcome: I would like to have the transaction cancelled and not pay.

Who are these IDIOTS? The phone contact is fully automated and the website www.nsapay.com does not exist. I have a bill to pay because i was Scammed by "Meaningful Beauty". Anyone else have this problem? Keith

A year ago I cancelled a subscription to Smileactives. I never recieved the product yet was charged $88 for it. NSA has been calling me at my place of work several times a day. I have told them to stop and send me a bill. When I got the bill, they told me to go to their website to pay it. The website said "Non Functioning". These people are scam artists. Either that, or that are unbelievably stupid. If I can't pay online, they are not getting the money for a product I never received.

I accepted a free offer from Gun Test to try them out. They seemed pretty good on the paper. But…
I did not like the format, and did not subscribe to them.
Now they bill me $20 ? They must be hungry for green.
I call that a complete fraud. I’m not going to pay for this.
So people, if you get any offer for Gun Test, pass. You’ll make yourself a big favor.

subscription to Game & Fish; In Fishermen; Readers Digest
complaned several months Ago about receiving two subscriptions for each of these magazines! Evidently when I rfenewed I put my address as P.O. Box 203 (which is right} BUT I also said adress is 207 east 5th (which is also right) please correct is pozssible! recently received a apast due notice for $14.97! PLEASE See if you could straighten all this mess out

Scam, fake magazine bill
I am a 43 year old, a disabled Veteran, and a Psy. D. Recently I received a Debt collectors letter from North Shore Agency for the magazine Harper's Magazine for $11.97 on 2021NOV15. I did not order this magazine, therefore I do not owe any money for any issues as I never ordered the magazine. Please delete my account, and refrain from scamming Military Veterans. Reading these posts that include previous complaints, informs me that your agency needs to be reported to the Defense Department and BBB, of which I am doing at this point.

I did NEVER Subscribe... And Now I am billed for the subscription
I do not want this and I will not PAY your 20. Let it go ! Get over it .
Why are you trying to COLLECT for an Entire subscription, All I received was about two or tree issues!?

PCH
I have received 5 different notice from NSA stating they were collections for PCH. I have paid everyone of them and they have cleared my bank, so I called PCH cause they got very late payment from them and they said they had only received 1 payment from back in July and the last one I sent cleared 11/12/21. PCH gave me a number to call NSA and its automated and they need their acct number or the case number. I don't have neither cause I sent the top part of the notice back to them with payment. The other number PCH gave me was NSA that did health and life insurance. So where do I go now. I have proof the checks were cashed and cleared my bank.

Collection for book I didn't order.
Book came in mail - didn't order in first place. Sent back... post office suggested I take pics of return postage. I will attach to this complaint. I have tried repeatedly to contact but auto service would not let me get through to a live person. I'm filing for my Uncle who is 92 years old. If they don't stop harassing him I will get lawyer. He's been so stressed over not being able to take care of this himself.
Desired outcome: Stop with harassment! No debt owed.

I tried looking up the email to call these people because they don't put it on their statements that they mail out so people can call so I tried to email in the phone numbers I gave me and had three of them and I tried all three of them all the [censored] and then had to say is please enter your pin for this conference please enter this pain for this conference please enter the pin for this conference if you guys don't know how to have a damn phone service for people to call you I don't see how you can collect any money. With that being said the account number that you're trying to tell me about which is account number [protected] in amount of $42.78 you say I owe Bradford Exchange it's funny because they sent me a refund check for exactly $42.78 for account number [protected] the same damn thing that you guys are saying that I owe $42 for they sent me a refund check do you guys know what the hell you're doing and why don't you have it where I can call and talk to somebody.

your collection letter is so poor you don't state what this is for
I've called 3 times, hit the button for an "agent" to call me back and that NEVER happened. I've spent 50 minutes holding 2 different days and still nobody answers the phone. And you're a debt collection agency?
This "business" needs to be put out of business. They harass people and you cannot even find out what it is in reference to or contact anyone to talk to.

Invoices Received
I just received 5 invoices from North Shore Agency explaining I owed money to Publisher's Clearing House. No doubt I do as I have just been released from the hospital after some brain surgery.
They provided their website address so that I could pay on-line. This page required a number that was on the letter and followed EXT and ID. No such numbers were anywhere on any of the invoices.
I have been trying to call then for 2 days and all I get is a message that all of their Operators are busy and the next available Operator will help me. I waited more than one hour today, but eventually took advantage of having calling me back. No call yet and it has been hours.
The Publisher's Clearing House website if of no use in finding out how to pay either.
Very frustrated.
If this is valid how do I find out?

Collection Agency
Today, I received a letter from the above-named company with a return address of P.O. Box 150, Claysburg, PA 16625.
They are trying to collect what they refer to as a past-due subscription to "READERS DIGEST". in the amount of $27.70.
I called the Readers Digest subscription department and verified that My subscription is "PAID" through May, 2023.
I attempted to phone the North Shore Agency, at [protected]; but after reaching them, they disconnected, before I could speak with anyone.
I'm assuming this to be a SCAM and I'm surprise3d that they would stoop so low as to try to collect from as many subscribers as possible and hope they get a few of them to pay up
Desired outcome: Make the North Shore Agency pay me for my time and trouble of checking this out. I think $50.00 would be fair along with a letter of apology.

I have told this co. I never got the book they want me to pay for. I think at least 3 bills a wrote on the bill and told them as plain as I could that I don't know where it went — but I never received it! Don't think I should have to pay for something I never got!

I received a Collection bill from this company on February 23 2021
They say I owe for a subscription that ended last year and I did not renew it.
I got the magazine through Publishers Clearing house and I paid it off on April 2-2020.
The Creditor is Women's world

they say amount due is $36.97
I could not get through to them and would like this fixed so it doesn't
mess with my credit.

I DO NOT OWE THIS and WILL NOT be paying it. This is unethical behavior and nothing more than harassment.
They are harassing me with threatening letters and phone calls after I have repeatedly asked them to stop. I do not owe the money to Westmore Beauty. End of story.
I did have a previous account with Westmore Beauty and supposedly it was resolved after several emails and attempts to try and reconcile. The products were sent to me after I requested several times for them to stop. I finally was able to stop the auto shipment of the product but the bill continued.
Desired outcome: To stop the harassment for a debt that I DO NOT OWE!!
